Did I see the liitle Mermaid ?

This summer we've had a lot of rain, so when the sun comes out - it doesn't matter whats happening - it's a good time to go swimming. I personally don't like spending to much time in the sun, but you just can't help taking a nice cool dip. Hey, did I just see a mermaid?

Iniana Jones and the temple of Quietness

Indiana Jones and the temple of Quietness I said it before I’ll say it again - I love video games. Especially if they give a bit of “Peace and Quiet” in the home. Oh, there is nothing more exciting than watching my kids play - that is, play quietly. Ofcourse since I’m a big fan of games myself - I play a little myself. And I have to say, if you want a nice clean game that will help your kids use those brain cells and enjoy themselves [ plus keep them quiet ] I suggest you get “ Lego Indiana Jones “ tribute game. This game is cool, especially if you’re a movie buff and an Indiana Jones fan. It pretty much takes you thru all three Indiana Jones movies - [ not last 4th installment ]. It’s great, you get the whip, you fight, jump, solve puzzles and ofcourse it has movie clips in Lego format. So cute. The only bad thing is, if you’re an avid player - or a junkie like me - you could easily go thru the entire game in about three days [ give or take a day - depends how good you are and

Indiana Jones - yea baby!

The first time I saw an Indiana Jones movie was in my first year of highschool. I took an arts class - thought it was easy - and the teacher showed us the first movie - Indiana Jones. Ofcourse he then proceeded to talk all the mystery out of the movie as he showed us the inner workings of special efforts and errors he found in the movie. But it didn't matter, this movie and this class strated me on mu movie buff journey. I know Indy is 70 years old and the stunts were done by someone else - but I can't wait to see this movie. SEE THE TRAILER BELOW! My duaghter is looking forward to seeing it - I think I'll take the cammera and capture her excitment after the movie. I took her to see starwars episode one thru three - she loved it. I think she cuaght my love for movies.

The Future is here???? YUK!

Well, I guess all those years of Science Fiction Futuristic TV was not as bad for me as dear old mom said it would be. Think of it - cloning bodies, Frankenstein, Body snatchers, creating life in a lab, factory. Yes while the life that was created always turned out to be monstrous and destructive - it prepared open minded children to believe in the possibilities of science. Imagine, in today’s science were walking towards a future were you can grow transplant organs in a lab outside a body. The fear ofcourse is, that the same TV that spurred the minds of children to reach these lofty goals - are the same TV shows that showed us the moral and unpredictable problems of this science. One day it will be clone your pet, then separate organs, then an entire clone body. How do you deal with that? A separate human, clone, is it you, does it have life???? Does it have rights???? It has made for many a good movies - but what about real life?????

Harry Potter - look out, Dumdbledore is Gay ??

Oct. 20 - British author J.K. Rowling has 'outed' one of the main characters of her best-selling Harry Potter series. She told fans in New York that the wizard Albus Dumbledore, head of Hogwarts school, is gay. Speaking at Carnegie Hall in her first U.S. tour in seven years, Rowling confirmed what some fans had always suspected - that she "always thought Dumbledore was gay." **** Personally I think she is just trying to drive more attention her way. Her series is over and she only has the last book tour to drum up attention. Funny she said "Thought" - After all, she created the fictional character. Don’t you think she would know, rather than suggesting that “she always Thought he was” ??? And considering that Dumdbledore is dead - does it matter…….
