Do the Rich care about your Finances????

The video below shows a family that says they are already in a recession. I tend to agree with them - but I believe the country is in a mild recession leading to a much larger one. The Government is always saying it's a personal responsibility to save - then they tell us to go out and spend to help the economy. When poor people spend beyond their means its called "irresponsibility" on their part. When the middle class spends beyond their means it's called a crisis or recession. Why? Could it be that the saying - the rich get richer and the poor get poorer is true? While all the news is either about a country wide recession - what people fail to realize is that a recession means the "Rich people" wont be making money. That’s right you heard me. two-year-old girl who was born with eight limbs

Nov. 6 - Indian doctors are operating on a two-year-old girl who was born with eight limbs in southern Bangalore. Laxmi was born to a poor family in a village in Araria district in India's eastern Bihar city. The illiterate villagers first considered her as an incarnation of Hindu Goddess Laxmi but after some time they realised that she was not well and needed medical help. Just looking at this video saddens me. I can't help but wonder "what if".... What if that was me, my child, my niece, nephew.... Life can be wonderful and sometimes life can be cruel.

When a small bag a chips cost you 25 cents and when I first moved to florida gas was $1.25 a gallon. So here I am fustrated and openly talking about the high cost of living in front of my children. I forgot that my duaghter is old enough to know what I am saying but not old enough to understand what life is all about. So on one of our trips home from school she ask a very polite question: "Are we poor???" I really felt bad about forgetting that children pick up everything you say. She brought me to tears when she offered to give up her savings to help the family out..... I love my kids... Update: Video is gone due to Revver shutting down. I wish I had put it in youtube. It's been several years since I wrote this post and after these several years of economic distress [ reces
