What you think does matter

Way to long of a crazy week end.... Things sort of become a blur when your so busy to take a moments breath. Let’s just give you a glimpse of what I mean - starting Friday morning - woke up and got the kids ready, took them to school, drove back home and took care of some things. Then I set up the tent in the back yard for my daughters sleep over party - rushed over to pick up my son at school at eleven thirty. Then drive all the way home to prepare his lunch , change his cloth and prepare for work. Drive him over to my brother-in-law’s house and off to work. After getting out of work at 8:35 pm, I drove home to eat, play with the kids and help my daughter start building her school model project. I went to bed around eleven thirty and woke up early Saturday to get myself and my son ready for his school friend birthday party. I like these people - even though it was raining, they had the birthday party. So I help by holding an umbrella over the grill to help cook the food [ after all I

Love is a strange fickle thing I grew up with seven brothers and sisters - and as much as we loved each other, we also hated each other. Ok, hate might be too strong a word but - we fought just as much as we loved each other. The funny thing is, my children are the same way. For as much as they love each other - they fight like cats and dogs. They seem to want to get on each others nerves. Yesterday they were watching TV in the living room and it seemed like they were bitter rivals. Everything was a challenge. They couldn’t go twenty seconds without something to snicker and fight about. My son who seems to be the more “sneaky” of the two - found pleasure in ratting his sister out when he found some spilled juice in the frig. He came running to us with this happy grin as he said “ooh KIKI spilled a lot of juice all over the floor.... come, hurry, look”. I walked into my local Dollar general store to pick up a gallon of milk and found myself transported in time. They were already preparing for Christmas…? That’s right Christmas! I asked the clerk what happened to Halloween and thanksgiving and she just smiled at me [ that joke went over like a lead balloon]. One of the reasons I hate wal-mart is because every time you walk in they already have next holiday seasons displays up. It’s bad enough having a non white snow less Christmas - but Christmas trees before we’re even done eating the turkey??? I was hoping to avoid Christmas - it’s just to expensive, that’s why I thought the video below would be of help: “5 ways to get out of debt faster”. I hope you enjoy it. Personally these are my five tips: 1- Stop taking the kids with me to the store. I always end up buying more than I should or want. I am so bad at saying no. 2- Start a diet and never end it. Not because it’s healthy for me but because food has gotten so expensive. By beacon……
