What you think does matter

Ever been at work and been so bored that you started looking for anything online to pass the time? Wait, what am I saying - that has to be 90 percent of all the work force in America. So there I was in the Mall Kiosk, late at night and not a single sole except the mall emplyees - who were roaming from store to store talking to each other... UMmmm .. why didn't anyone of them talk to me? Well, that's a defferent story. So back to my story.. I was bored, had no one to talk to [ darn mall employess... hate them... ] and I decided to go online. Not facebook, you need friends in order to enjoy facebook. I post a comment and I am lucky to get a response from anyone in say three to tweenty four hours. Didn't have the time to wait, that is if I even get a response. So I did a Google search for funny jokes - this is one of the ones I really liked... Enjoy.

Let me share some friendly advice: How private is your Bathroom? How private is your bathroom? Family advice think twice. I remember when I was a kid my older sister played a horrible mean joke on me. When I was a child [ wow I sound old ] I had this fear of someone walking into the bathroom when I was using it - you know …. #2.… The whole idea was dreadful to me. I didn’t even use the bathroom when I was in school because people - you know - they can hear you. For crying out loud, people sit in the stall next to you. But one day I am nervously using the bathroom [ don’t forget I was a child, I believe about 7 or 8 ] and my older sister decided to burst into the bathroom with two of the next door kids, just for kicks, you know - torture and embarrass your little brother. Possibly scar him emotionally for life, no biggie - all in fun. So lets just say it took me for ever to get over that one. So why do I bring it up? Ok, I couldn't help it, it's christmas. How can i not make a joke, a cartoon, a silly fopar [ did i spell that right? ]. It's the best time of the year... Normally I am not into christmas, atleast not for me - you know for the kids. But this year even with all the bad - I am enjoying the spirit of christmas ??? Singing and humming carols. I don't know what is wrong with me - my heart must have grown three sizes....

Now this one is a sad sick joke. This is just real life being funny. Who knew that when you were children dreaming about the stars, outer space, becoming the president of the United States of America. That your life would turn out to be this. Not that I don't love my kids. But give me a breal will ya.

This one comic is funny as HE*L. But it's been around a while. I revamped an old joke my soon to be father-in-law use to tell me. It went like so: A guy and his girl are dating and the girl sees the moon, she ask "why does the moon hide". The young man says "because your beauty puts it to shame." A months later on another date the girl ask again: "why does the moon hide?" and the young man replies "because your beauty puts it to shame". The couple marries and a year after the wedding the girl now his bride ask, "why does the moon hide" and the young man replies "because it's going to rain stupid".

To be honest, I came up with this funny silly cartoon after having a long dragged out argument with my wife. No that we went to blows, but the truth is - we all scream at each other but most of us never really want to hit the other person. We're all full of empty threats... Well, most of us.

I have been noticing that beside the fact that my age is showing - you know, grey hair, wrinkles, tiring easily and the hair thing….. I have also notice the not so subtle things that scream “old” to those around me. Take for instance: 1- A new fashion craze seems oddly similar to an old fashion when you were a kid. 2- You like new hip music because unknowing to you it sampled an old favorite song of yours. 3- New tv shows, movies and so forth annoys you because it doesn’t do justice to the original series. 4- When you try to help your kids with their homework you find out that “NO” you are not smarter than a fifth grader. I guess the biggest clue I had in realizing how age is creeping up on me is this one obvious clue - I was sitting at work, I got up and realized I had some how sprained my ankle. I had all these great ideas for the blog - but my internet connection went out for most of the day. Dumb me, I didn’t write them down and now - well, I’m stuck. But I figure you might enjoy this cartoon [ comic strip ] I created a while back. I think it’s funny, it’s a couple of years old and may be out dated, but maybe you might get a laugh. the idea behing this is that after my duaghter was born, most of the TV I watched was kids shows... and some times, it would drive me mad.
