The Pack mentality of Five sleep over Girls

The Pack mentality of Five sleep over Girls Ok, summer is almost here. It’s bad enough I’m torn up inside because my little girls is going away for the summer. She’s spending it in NY with the Aunt and Grandparents. It’s sort of the last chance she has to experience the Big city [ you know where Mom and Dad grew up]. It may be the last summer she’ll be able to go since Granddad is retiring and moving to Florida. So what does my wife agree to - one last opportunity for my daughter and four of her friends to have a big blow out slumber party- great…. First - I don’t want to share my daughters last weekend with others [ especially four screaming girls ]. Second - How am I going to escape the giggling, screaming, wacky antics of five pre-teen girls running around my house. I have trouble dealing just with the two women who live in my house - but now I’ll have five tweens and one adult women [ who will probably re-live her childhood fantasies through these girls ] The Pack mentality of Fi

Five Girls, sleep over - Sad DAD

Five Girls, sleep over - Sad DAD What do you do when you know Five girls are going to spend the night over at your house. Do you clean up? Do you Prepare for the mess? Run and Hide - NO! You make sure they spend as much time outside the house as possible. That’s right - outside girls. Play in the pool, play on the wet and slid. In fact - let me put up the tent and you guys go sleep out side - thank you…. We were just trying to help the girls have one last Hurrah because they weren’t going to be able to see each other this summer. My daughters is spending the summer in NY with her Aunt and Grandparents. My daughters friend Katline [ if spelled it right ] is going to Georgia for the summer - so the group is all torn up. So my wife allowed a big all out last ditch slumber party. Great - pre-teen screaming girls taking over my house. What do 5 five girls do alone in the dark?

What do 5 five girls do alone in the dark? Oh God help us all... What do five girls do when left alone to their own devices…. Well, of course the do the usual stuff: * they eat all the food they can find. * They eat all the candy they can scrounge up. * they giggle, scream and make the weirdest noise I’ve ever heard. * they find it funny to slap, kick and hit each other……. Weird * Run in fear from one small Bee - oh brother… There is so much more but like all women - the most they do is talk a lot! I’ve learn so much about my daughter and her friends in one short conversation than I’ve learned in the last three weeks. It’s surprising how girls act a lot like boys. They seem to lose all petite self-conscious control and act like slobs, eat like rabid animals and do not find it odd to be talking about things I [ a man ] do not want to hear about. 5 girls one Boy - what a perfect Storm !

5 girls one Boy - what a perfect Storm ! My son had a blast this week end. He was the only boy in the mist of FIVE pretty girls - all screaming and laughing and running around in their pajamas!!!!! Ofcourse my son is only five so he just enjoyed the attention from all the girls and has no clue to what a peculiar situation he is in. Yet that didn’t stop him from acting like a little five year old - because my son is “Sponge Bob” a nick name the girls dubbed him - because he soaks up all the information [ gossip ] being told by the giddy girls hopped up on candy and he shares it with everyone. Like the fact that a boy ask my daughter out ?? Or that Jonesha likes a boy called Jeffery ! Or the conversation I had to run from in the kitchen, when they all started talking about who had the biggest butt ???? Excuse me - Man here - I don’t need to hear this.. Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park - What ?

Image
One good day of nice weather and I come home from work to find my duaghter online planning a trip to Walt Disney's Water park.... Like if she has a chioce in where we go. Oh, and she even considered her brothers hieght- she said "Disney's Typhone Lagoon has a kiddie section for isaac!" Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park , one of 2 Water Parks in Walt Disney World Resort, features attractions for the whole family—from fast waterslides to a children's area with pint-sized raft rides. Catch 6-foot waves in the Surf Pool and snorkel Shark Reef—with real sharks! According to Disney legend, Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park was created in the wake of the storm-of-storms. During the meteorological disturbance, surfboards were hurled into palm trees and boats were tossed through thatched roofs of beach houses… and onto mountains. A hapless shrimp boat, Miss Tilly, journeying from Safen Sound, Florida, found itself swept up by the twisting tides of the fierce typh

Did you Know: Allergies can come and go ?

Did you Know: Allergies can come & go ? Yesterday I proved I love my son. How? By going to his doctors appointment. My son was sent to a specialist in Sarasota Florida to have a specialist look at him. He has high level of allergies and we were sent there to find out more. To be honest I thought it was a waste of time but - I love my son - and my relationship with my wife. So I went. I spent $233 dollars to find out basically - “nothing I already didn’t know”.. Though I admit I was hoping the test would say he was allergic to dogs and it would solve the “jasper” dog issue [ I don’t hate the dog - just don’t want him ]. The Doctor gave my son this very expensive test that caused him to cry and amounted to just dabbing liquid on him to see how his skin reacts [ as proof of allergic reaction ]. Well, after the crying and me trying to keep him from scratching test area - we learned that he is allergic to the things we already new about or suspected. Except for cat - I didn’t know he wa
