Undeserving nobel prize winners Al gore and Obama

BE SURE TO READ THE CARTOON AND MESSAGE BELOW 63 YEARS LATER. The prize doesn't always go to the most deserving.... Irena Sendler There recently was a death of a 98 year-old lady named Irena. During WWII, Irena, got permission to work in the Warsaw Ghetto, as a Plumbing/Sewer specialist. She had an 'ulterior motive' ... She KNEW what the Nazi's plans were for the Jews, (being German.) Irena smuggled infants out in the bottom of the tool box she carried and she carried in the back of her truck a burlap sack, (for larger kids..) She also had a dog in the back that she trained to bark when the Nazi soldiers let her in and out of the ghetto. The soldiers of course wanted nothing to do with the dog and the barking covered the kids/infants noises.. During her time of doing this, she managed to smuggle out and save 2500 kids/infants. She was caught, and the Nazi's broke both her legs, arms and beat her severely. Irena kept a record of the names of all the kids she smuggled

No you Don't need a Droid FREE cell phone

Image
Really, what a great deal - but no, I don't think you need a Droid cell phone. No, even if it is a FREE cell phone..... Yep, that was my opinion - not that it mattered much. Why, Because she [ my wife ] went out and got herself a Droid cell phone. Great it’s a free cell phone at this website - Verizon Wireless Android Sale . I personally believe that 99 percent of the people who own any kind of "smart" cell phone - do not really need it. In fact most of these people do nothing with these smart phones other than use them as toys. The funny thing is that I watch people with their cell phone, I have two co-workers who have smart phones and they basically use it as a toy at work. They don’t do anything productive at work with their cell phone, they just watch videos, play games and spend their time on facebook. Wow, I remember how smart phones were originally sold as tools for business people so they can stay connected with their business. Today staying connected means kee

Home Insurance - what a SCAM

Image
We all think that insurance is a waste of money - that is until we need it. A co-worker of mine was telling me how a client of his was getting a large $90,000 dollar check from his home insurance company. Apparently the client was home and decided to start cooking his evening meal, then decided to go outside and check on the kids. He spent a wonderful time playing catch with the kids and then realized that he forgot that he had forgotten about cooking dinner. I guess all that billowing smoke and the flames bursting from his home must have been a clue. Sadly enough his entire home was burned down to the ground, thankfully no one was hurt in the fire. Having a house - the great "American" dream.... no one likes paying for house insurance - that is until you need. I have never really enjoyed anything that has to do with insurance, I simply can not put my head around the idea that we are basically gambling with me having my life turned upside down. My house, every American has on

Funny, pillow fight of death

Oh I just had to post this, it made me luagh so hard. It reminded me of real life oddly enough. Did you ever start a simple game or a simple play fight and then you end up getting way out hand.... no really. I remember when I was a kid me and my older sister were play fighting, we had just finished watching some television show that inspired us to "play fight". I don't remember what the show was about, but I remember what happened afterward. We starting play fighting, I got the upper hand and decided to boast how strong I was and how I was going to win. I do not remmber how but I had some how over powered her enough to have her pinned on the ground - [ thinking back she may have planned it that way ]. Some how she destracted me by warning me that she was going to win.... I stopped to gloat and some how she bent her legs and planted her feet on my chest - the next thing I know I was flying across the room and landed upside down with my feet up on the dreser... not funny. O

Curse you YMCA - I hate you!

Curse you YMCA - I hate you! I could no longer avoid it, I’ve been telling my wife I had to work - so it made it easy to get out of going with her. Well, today was the day I could no longer say no. I simply had no excuse, off work for the week end, no plans or side work that needed to be done…… Ok honey I will go with you to the YMCA and work out with you….. ??? No, I am not a lazy slob or a husband that doesn’t want to spend time with his wife - it’s that I am not into all the “exercise” thing and really - I do hate the sun…. I live in Florida and most activities here deal with being outside and being under the sun… can you say “crispy crunchy” sun burn. So, Saturday morning my wife woke me up early and said the most terrible words I’ve ever heard - “lets go work out” ….. What, this early in the morning! I have to say though, as hard as it was dragging my sleepy butt across town to work out on all those machines of torture wasn’t so bad as I thought - I even felt good enough to go and

Oh my God, things are getting weird around here. It's summer time and my baby girl is in New York and all I have is my little boy for the summer. I'm trying to do my best at finding the money and time to make his summer a fun time. Or atleast, I'm trying to make it that he has a memorable summer so he doesn't feel like his sister had a better time than he did. So why am I just finding out that my son hates 3D movies. No I'm not kidding - he really hates 3D movies. I thought he was kidding when he would tell me he wanted to see a movie that just came out but would always say "I want to see that dad, unless it's 3D...." I never took him seriously until this last Saturday. Oh my what a scene. He has been talking about wanting to see the movie "Prince of Persia" - yeah not your typical child movie but he was all stoke about. Until we showed up at the movie theater and he didn't want to go in - he started crying and pouting, he was so scared a

It's been a while seen my last confession - oops, I mean post. I've sort of been busy working [ trying to make up the money I spent on my camping vacation ]. I have also been playing with the kids and yes - loosing my manhood....... I Have a confession? You know, I would do anything for my kids.... anything! That is just a given, I believe most Parents would, but in my attempt to help my duaghter learn about money, how to earn it, manage it and start her own business - I learned I have a creative and [ dare I say ] feminine side to me .... Lol... Yes, I helped my duaghter start her own Jewelry Business [ look honey I spelled "Jewlery" right ... oops ]. And by doing so found that hey, I have sort of have a flare for this [ wow sounds way to girlie ] - I mean a nack for this.
